Sibu Island is one of Malaysia's unspoilt islands off the Peninsula's
East Coast, facing the South China Sea. Approximately 6 km long
and 1 km wide, the island abounds with lush tropical vegetation,
and is noted for its beaches, hills, cliffs and exotic bird population.
All is about the nature life.
On the Southern end there is a small fishing village with a population
of less than a hundred people. Since few villages staying there
then it is the idea place for fishing a BIG fish. Facing Pulau Sibu
on the west is the majestic Pulau Tinggi and a few smaller uninhabited
islands. Guests can have the view on those islands with the most
natural creation of the god.
Almost untouched by progress, Sibu Island is the perfect hideaway
from the rat-race of city life. All the guests can feel that they
are free of the air polution, peaceful and have the exiciting holiday
there.
Accommodation :
There are two types of bungalow accommodation at the resort (Cabanas
Chalets and Labamba Chalets), all with sea view. The Cabanas
Chalets are semi-detached air-conditioned bungalows, whilst the
Labamba Chalets are single unit Malay style thatched bungalows with
large verandahs, overhead fans and hot showers.
Both types are furnished
with king-size beds with an extra single bed. Bathrooms are en-suite
for all chalets. Top sheets, soap and towels are also provided.

Food and Beverage :
The Restaurant and Bar
The restaurant offers a variety of Asia and Western set menus daily.
Buffets and BBQ are usually organized on weekends. One can also request for non-set meals for vegetarians and children's menus.
The Langga Langga bar stocks ample supply of beer, wines and spirits together with soft drink beverages and mineral water.

Activities :
The main activities on the island are snorkelling and diving. One can also take walks in the jungle to the fishing village or to the other resorts. There are pathways to most of these places.
At the resort, indoor activities such as table and board games, table tennis and darts are provided. A mini library is also available.
Outdoors, one can go canoeing, ride the banana boat, play badminton and beach volleyball. Fishing trips are regularly organized for the avid fishermen. Boat trips to the other islands can be arranged at the resort.
Alternatively, you can work on your tan or laze on the palm-fringed beaches and experience the tranquility of nature.
