The JW Marriott Hotel Kuala Lumpur is one of nine distinctive JW Marriotts around the world, and was the first Marriott to open in Malaysia. In 1999, YTL Hotels & Properties acquired this Hotel, which is ideally located in the central business district of the city. Accommodation
"The Room That Works" is the concept for all 565 guestrooms and suites. The rooms are designed with the business traveller in mind, and offer the ultimate in comfort and convenience. An ample work area with adjustable desk lighting and a high back executive chair provide a comfortable environment for executives to conduct business as usual. Desk-mounted outlets, broadband facility, two-line speaker telephones with call waiting facility, fax modem and voice mail make for easy communications around the world.
Deluxe Room
Junior Suite
The 34 spacious Junior Suites measure 71 square metres, featuring a lounge area for relaxing and entertaining, with a large desk in a seperate working area, and an adjoining bedroom with a large ensuite marble bathroom.
Studio Suite
The 19 Studio Suites offer guests the luxury of space at 65 square metres. They are L-shaped, and feature an ample work area, lounge area and a cosy dining alcove.
1 Bedroom Suite
The 9 luxurious new one-bedroom suites located on the 28th Floor have an area of 72 square metres. The contemporary-style suite features a comfortable living area and a separate bedroom with a spacious marble bathroom.
2 Bedroom Suite
The 3 exclusive two-bedroom suites measure from 98 to 104 square metres. Located on the 28th Floor of the hotel, it features two bedrooms, a roomy dining and lounge area.



VIP Suite 1 & 2
The 2 new exclusive VIP suites measuring 565 and 577 square metres, give one the feeling of being home away from home. Located on each side of the Presidential suite on the 29th Floor, each suite features a spacious bedroom, living room, dining area and a pantry. The marble bathroom has a panoramic view of the city and has a private water closet.

The two-bedroom 1838 square metres Presidential suite located exclusively on the 29th Floor features a spacious reception area at the entrance and a living room. The grand staircase leads up to a colossal bedroom with a large marble bathroom equipped with a jacuzzi. Besides the private study adjoined to the master bedroom, there is also a dining area with a pantry conveniently situated nearby. The ‘mahjong’ room is adjacent to the dining room.

Marriott Café
With a chic and trendy ambience overlooking Bintang Walk, this Parisian style café serves a wide selection of local and international dishes. The friendly staff and prompt service makes it an ideal place to have a quick bite or to unwind with friends over a cup of coffee.
Shanghai Restaurant
Kuala Lumpur's only Shanghainese restaurant located in a hotel, Shanghai has established a reputation for its unique cuisine and impeccable service. The elegant interior evokes the gracious splendour of the 'Paris of the East', perfectly complementing the authentic and exquisite cuisine.
JW Marriott Gourmet
A wide selection of speciality teas and coffees, juices and wines are served here. Also available are cold cuts, smoked seafood, pastries, chocolate, cakes and oven-fresh breads. Freshly made sandwiches, pasta and salads are available daily.
Satay Club
Malaysia's most famous delicacy is served here by the pool in the ambience of a typical Malay 'kampung' or village. The marinated and skewered morsels of chicken, beef and lamb are cooked over a flaming grill, and served in the traditional way with cucumber and onion slices, rice cakes and a piquant peanut sauce.
The Lounge at Starhill
Classic decor and plush sofa armchairs scattered over the carpeted rotunda area has the ambience of the 1940's reminiscent of grand hotel afternoon teas. Serves English and Asian Afternoon Tea. Also has a quartet playing nostalgic tunes from the balcony overlooking The Lounge.
Cesar's Bistro

A Tapas bar offering the famous traditional Spanish savoury dishes to accompany an extensive beverage list, including fine wines, Sangria and draught beer. An excellent meeting place to enjoy a great selection of drinks and delectable tapas items.

The elegant 888 square metre Mayang Sari Grand Ballroom together with 31 other meeting rooms offer flexible space for business meetings and seminars, creative events and receptions. The Ballroom can be divided into 6 salons, accommodating from 50 to 770 guests for a banquet, up to 1,000 for a reception or 1,000 theatre-style. Attentive meeting professionals ensure the success of each event.

Ballroon Foyer
The spacious pre-function area is impressive with its tall columns, high ceiling and beautiful chandeliers. Climbing wrought-iron roses rise up on the walls, interspersed with graceful, glided cranes, while terra cotta Grecian urns grace the ballroom entrances. It is an ideal setting for pre-dinner cocktails.

Meeting Rooms
The latest addition to the Hotel's conference facilities on Level 4 comprises 10 function rooms, 6 meeting rooms and 2 boardrooms. Capacities range from an exclusive group of 10 persons to up to 200 persons for a reception. A large foyer is perfect for coffee breaks and pre-function events.

The Hotel is about an hour's drive away or 75 kilometres from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at Sepang. Our Doorman would be delighted to help you with taxis and transportation, including the new Express Rail Link (ERL) which takes only 28 minutes from KLIA to Sentral Station and vice-versa. Guests can also make arrangements for EXKL service to KLIA at the Concierge.
