By Car To Mersing
• From Kuala Lumpur
Take North-South Highway, head south towards Johor (from KL or North) . Exit at Ayer Hitam (exit 244) After toll gate (view for road map), take a right turn at the traffic junction and head towards Kluang. Before entering Kluang town, there’s a roundabout, take 3 O’clock. Follow signs to Mersing or Route 3.

• From JB / Singapore
Take Jalan Wong Ah Fook and this will lead you through Johor Bahru City passing City Square shopping mall on your right. Look out for the overhead Bridge with the sign 'Kota Tinggi - Desaru'. Follow this sign leading you to route 3 . Route 3 will take you towards Kota Tinggi and Mersing. Just follow the signs. (view for road map)

By Air To Tioman
The main gateway to Malaysia is through the new K.L. International Airport at Sepang located approximately 50km south of Kuala Lumpur. The Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang serves a few domestic and regional airlines.

The main entry point by sea to KL is Port Klang, about 50km away from KL. Malaysia is also accessible by rail and road from Singapore and Thailand.

From other destination like Penang, Langkawi Island, Kuantan and Singapore you need to transit at Kuala Lumpur and before to Tioman. Berjaya Air recently launched its direct flights between Seletar Airport, Singapore and Kampung Tekek Airport in Tioman Island. With the new service, tourists from Singapore, can reach Tioman Island in 40 minutes.
