Pulau Perhentian is located 21km off the Terengganu shore and is accessible via Kuala Besut Jetty. It takes only 30 minutes by boat to reach the island. The jetty is 40 minutes drive from Kuala Terengganu and is easily accessible by road and air. There are bus services to Besut from almost all major points in the peninsula.
