NASI LEMAK WITH TELUR GORENG RM2.50-ADVISE NOT TO PUT THIS CHALET IN WEBSITE UNLESS THERE IS SOME IMPROVEMENTS IN TERM OF ROOM CONDITIONS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. | Liza | | Had a one day trip to Mersing and put up at Telok Godek for one night. Well, they took adavantage of the CNY festivals and jack up the price....S$250/night (with TV not working and cleanliness that sucks).
During midnight, some young local Malay guests from other rooms sang their hearts out with the KTV in the open while another young Chinese Ah Beng group blasted their car audio system to the max. Obviously both were trying to outdo each other in terms of noise level.
These obviously distrubed nearby guests who merely wanted to have a good vacation and good night's rest....mind you...there were babies that were woken up from these loud noises.
The best part has yet to come...after we complained to the owner (but to no avail) these trouble makers (the chinese Ah Bengs) started taking drugs openly!!!! That was about 1:30 - 2 in the morning....My God! I was so taken aback and wonder why they were not arrested! Reason how I knew is because my husband checked the situation out every now and then cos our children are with us and he did not want anything bad to happen around us....
Well....after most of them knocked out that was when we had a peaceful night....Such a disturbing experience. We are nvr going to that chalet anymore...
