Room was generally clean but the facilities was under par (bath heater water pressure was low, rusted boiler, snower TV due to poor reception etc..). The water park facility was good for 2D/1N stay but not sufficient for longer stay. The location of the hotel was too remote and downside was no beach front & sea view (for a beach resort). Breakfast was too lousy and limited variety available. Date of stay: 2009 Nov

Water heater & air cond not in function, tap water yellowish and smelly, mini fridge totally disgust. I realised this resort is getting bad. Pls do improve ur service. Facilities are getting worse day by day. Rooms are not as clean anymore. All the rooms that I have stayed has low water pressure with broken water heater. It is considered rather expenses for such a poor room condition. Wake up! Wake up! The Tiara management should make an audit on the facilities that they are having. If not you may loose to other resorts/waterparks offering similar facilities. Food - lousy Beach activities - same since 2006 Stage performance - same since 2006 Games room - same & poor Kids room - worst ever! Date of stay: 2009 Jun

2009-08-04 22:41:35   ssapuan   I have been frequenting Tiara since 2006 and I guess I have been there for at least 9 times. Things were a lot better when we went there earlier but lately service has been deteriorating. Reservation is ok but since I start to go there, there have been no changes to their recreation centres, kids room, variety of food during breakfast, same old arrangement of their games room - gloomy as ever, same beach games, same tricks by the magician. I go there because of the kids. I should say that the pool is good. If not because of the kids, I dont think will be repeating my stay there anymore. As a concern patron, I send my feedback form with a lot of suggestions & comments during every visit & not even a single phonecall I got from their Customer Service to acknowledge the many forms that I sent. 2009-06-09 13:41:34   adam_low   Checking in: I don't know why there is a pre check in and still have to wait for more than half an hour to get the room key. Normally with a pre-check in it suppose to be faster. Breakfast voucher also did not issue at that time. Mentioned by the staff there were alot of booking and have no time to print. Reason or excuse? I believe there were no walk in booking. Most of the guests were having their reservation, therefore the resort should know how many guests are coming and should be prepare more early. Room: 1st time staying there and the room size is big enough to hold a family. The downsize was when I look for the remote control of the TV and the controller of the air-con, it can't be found. The water boiler, the wire was too short, when I pulgged to the socket the base is hanging. I was worry for the safety of that boiler. The TV, do not have a good receiption, if you like snowy picture than it is okay. The ceiling fan in the TV room was so noisy I can't hardly sleep at night. I wanted to try out the sauna facility and I found out it is not working. When I asked what has happen to the facility to one of the staff so happen in the area he just wave his hand and continue plucking his nasal hair. Breakfast: I have exprience bad hotel food and I think this is the worst. I took the fried mee, no taste at all. The sausage, the texture was like cotton, I think that sausage were expired. There was no enough variety of food we can choose. The door, there is no peep hole and the chain was damage. I woke up by the door bell and I don't dare to open beacuse the cahin was broken. My wife can't go back to sleep think of the safety of our children. Date of stay: 2009 Jun

2009-05-28 22:29:49   san613   the overall experience was good. mainly due to the visit was not during peak season. the staff there are friendly and are willing to help. the room was clean and everything in place while we checked in but with few acceptable shortcomings such the ceiling fan speed and air-con temperature cannot be adjusted accordingly. refrigerator not cold enough for beer lovers. the bath room didn't have towel hooks and places to hang your clothes. the facilities at the pool was ok for small kids and will not be exciting enough for those who are looking for real excitement. the free breakfast was nice with quite a lot of varieties. hams, chicken fried with dried chillies, red beans, fried rice, fried mee, potato wedges, chicken sausages, toasted bread with 3 types of spread, water melon, honey dew, papaya, two type of cakes, coffee, tea, "milo" and orange juice. we have not tried out other facilities as our main attention was about our daughter having fun in the pool, thus no commend on other facilities. it takes about 10 minutes to travel to Teluk Kemang public beach and along the way there are a lot of restaurants and shops available if you don't want to buy expensive stuff or having expensive meal at the resorts. overall, it is a great place for parents whose goal is to let their kids have fun in the "clean" water as you might worry what kind of "chemicals" you are going to soak your kids with in the straights of melaka and yet get the chance to see the real seasides. 2009-03-10 14:44:36   Hazman   This is my 3rd time to TBR. Nothing improvement happen there. Just like before but more dirty! I think TBR should keep up their maintanance job before all thing becoming worst. Room is not ok! Heater just not functioning. The aircond not so cold and also the fan! For the food there, WORST ever breakfast i ever had for a 'resort' status. Please laa.. for 2 days i having a breakfast there, i just swallow the food. Then i go out to meal again outside. Menu is very tipical. Dont think of $$$ only. After all, i can say, so so laa... i wont recomend any my friend to go there. Sorry to say. TBR, wake up and see around. 2009-02-10 12:54:25   noradilah80   This is my first stay in TBR. Overall I rated as OK. The first room we got was terrible. The air cond was so noisy and the fans were too slow. Luckily my hubby got to change to another room which was so much better except for the toilet. The toilet was too small and not so clean. The breakfast was horrible. Tasteless. The fried rice was too oily. TBR should improve the menu and the taste. The games house is nothing to be talk about. Most of the machine was out of service. BTW, the pool is great for both adults and kids. My family enjoy playing in the pool. Date of stay: 2009 Feb

NIce stay... the check in counter was a superb... they using number.... check counter... thumbs up.. tbr separate the counter... But, why is the staff not so friendly as my first time? As my 1st review a long time ago, TBR still did not make any changes or maintenance on your toilet.. its still dirty... the head bath.. need to change.. everything about the toiilet... 2009-01-03 09:56:42   dlensa   This was our 2nd stay at TBR. Overall, we love the pool facilities especially our kids. Really enjoy to see them have fun all day. The kid's pool very near to our studio room (block D) which make very convenient go back and forth. During check-in, take a while due to peak season. But hey that's ok since the staff was polite & helpful. Room rate vs facilities - if you're looking for a pool/water place especially for your kids, i think this is the preferred place for all parents with kids. If you're looking for more adventures water park activities, then I would say Sunway Lagoon or A Famosa Water Park would be the choice. Thanks CUTI & TBR. Date of stay: 2008 Dec

2008-12-31 10:25:20   marsidah ali   3rd trip to tiara beach stayed from dec 24 - 26, 2008. WORST stayed ever. When we checked in the room was really in a mess. 2 toilets are extremely dirty. The living and kitchen area was DIRTY. Rubbish everywhere. Floor was sticky. The furniture was not cleaned and dusted - sutry everywhere. The bedsheets/blanket and even the curtain was really dirty. The dusty air circulation made my daughter felt sicked.... This was our 3rd stayed in Tiara Beach and surpisingly the 1st/2nd stayed were really a good one room are cleaned BFT and food are ok .. facilities are cleaned. Now even the baby pool are EXREMELY DIRTY!!! YUCKY!!!!... Booked 1st/2nd trip with mari2.com.my and were a pleasant and good one.... pls cuti2. wake up pls make sure the rooms are extremley cleaned bfr you reseverved a booking for yr cuti2 members .... i will still prf to book hotels thr. other website if cuti2 ... nvr being a good and reponsible provider. :(( Date of stay: 2008 Dec

We wait outside the room for 2 hours. Tiara Beach management, please lah dont see $$$ sign only. We know that you want to grab the school holidays period. If your company can't cope or if there's no room say so.!!! Room: We booked family unit with two rooms. Room not up to standard. NOT WORTH with the money that we pay. Condition of room: The unit looks small about 450 sq ft only. Overall this family unit look like hotel murah only, or can say like budget hotel. 2nd room very small with one bed only. Air Cond leaking and wet the bed all the time. Horrible night.... the Toilet my God.... I think the wall is not scrub. The cleaner only spray the floor with water. Water Park. Too Crowded. Nothing great and nothing to shout at. With the amount we pay for the room, really not worth it. Can get better hotel deals. Very slow service and have to take queue. after taking the key I went straight to my unit. Very Frustrating. Room not ready after a long journey to rest. We wait outside the room to be clean until 3.40pm like begggars. When we went into the room, We are very annoyed. Room very wet and dirty. Can see hairs on the wet floor. Toilet wall dirty. Not scrub. Pay for RM300 plus per day for family room. Not worth it. Can get 4* star hotel instead in other places. REGRET REGRET REGRET. WILL BE THE FIRST AND THE LAST. Date of stay: 2008 Dec

2008-12-16 18:26:10   sumiati   Overall, the resort is good, especially with kids who enjoy the water. We have been there for at least 6 times in the past 3 or 4 years. My kids really enjoy the resort and are quite happy with the man-made beach. My 2 little boys love the kiddy pool with its octopus slides. Just a few comments and suggestions. The area can become quite dirty especially during the peak season when there are many visitors especially irresponsible ones who litter everywhere. I noticed the pool was kept quite clean, but the area surrounding the pool often have rubbish eg plastic bags, mineral water bottle, even baby diapers left by irresponsible visitors. I suggest that they put more rubbish bins, put up signs that say "Please throw your rubbish in the bins provided", and also have a staff assigned to walk around to pick up rubbish. Some people also leave bags of rubbish at the staircase which leave a horrible stench and attract flies, very irresponsible of them but no staff even bother to remove those bags! I have also seen visitors, especially men, who smoke at the edge of the pool, with their cigarrette ashes dropping into the pool water! This is very unhygienic and also irresponsible of these people. They are selfish and do not think of other people. I suggest the management prohibits smoking in and around the pool area for hygiene purposes and also for the comfort of other visitors, especially the young kids and babies in the pool, we don't want them inhaling the harmful cigarrette smoke now, do we? I have also seen people who allow their kids to eat while they are in the water, and saw the crumbs of their food dropping in the water! Imagine if everyone of the visitors did this, can you imagine how dirty the water will be? I had to ask a lifeguard to tell them to get out of the water! I suggest that the management prohibits eating at the edge of the pool and in the pool and so put up large signs to say this. Eating should only be allowed at the sandy areas and areas away from the pool water. Date of stay: 2008 Dec

2008-12-10 10:14:00   hildaazis   We all really enjoy while visiting Tiara for the 3 time actually, for the first 2 time we stay in the the studio room but this time around we got the family suite with 2 rooms. Quite ok the rooms and the facilities too. Breakfast was ok too but hope the hotel give negeri sembilan tradisional menu so that people knows diff state will get to taste diff food too. That why people go to the diff place each time. This is for all the hotel in Malaysia too. But anyway we all really enjoyed the moment although at that time at the pools really crowded with people. I chose TBR for my first honeymoon since I'm interested with the swimming pool that TBR offered. Yet, the location is not that far from KL.So, why not if I give it a try? Em...what I like most about TBR was the live performance show. Yet, I was lucky to watch those acrobatic show live! I was informed that they were invited from China if I'm not mistaken. It was such a great show! I also loved those singing sisters. It was fun and entertaining! Keep it up!! I also would like to give some suggestion to TBR. I hope that TBR will add more new games at the Game Room. Please make sure that the machine is functioning well!! I'm very frustrated since my tokens were stuck in those machines several times!! Yet, many games were out of order and little choice of game left! Very frustrated!! The room were also hot with no air cond at all!! I hope TBR could do something to improve on that! Thank you. 2008-11-09 20:36:48   faintan_uezzian   Overall ok..fun & enjoy....first time book online...team cuti feedback very fast...like 1,2,3...booking 2 apartment family suite...suggest bilik side by side...sampai sana....reception side very bz...but still in control... first time percepsi..tak perlu pergi sunway lagoon....boleh main pasir,ada jaquzzi,ada sauna...boleh round resort naik basikal...paling best ade pantai dalam resort..tak perlu main kat pantai....service bagus....puas hatilah....maybe next time boleh pergi dengan jiran pulak...thanks...cuti.....
