Just over a hundred years ago, a tiny island was formed by a volcanic eruption off of the coast of Borneo. Since thtat time, the island of Pulau Tiga has recently became a household place name known as the Survivor island due to the popular television show Survivor.
The resort offers humble but comfortable accommodation with a local flavor of architectural design blending with the natural environment of the island. There are three distinctive styles of accommodation, and rates are very reasonably priced so there is sure to ba an option which will suit you. All units offer a panoramic view of the sea.
Food & Beverage
Enjoy a peaceful lunch overlooking the sparkling blue waters of the Survivor Island.
The Survivor Bar is a great place to relax in between dives or after a trip to the mud volcano. Soft drinks, beer and alcoholic drinks can be purchased at the counter.

The Game Room includes a mini pool table, table tennis and even a mini gym. We also have an array of board games such as Monopoly, Chess, Scrabble, Mastermind and Chinese Chequers.
|- Audio Room
At the end of a day spent snorkeling, diving, or exploring the trails, unwind in our Audio Room over coffee or a glass of wine. The Audio Room provides the perfect setting for a relaxed evening.
- The Dive Center
Pulau Tiga Resort also provides scuba dive activities and PADI dive courses. Our dive centre is equipped with 15 sets of complele diving gears. These are supported with two air compressor and 50 aluminium 3000 psi 80cu.ft.tanks fitted with "K" valves.
- Water Sport
Make the most of your visit to Survivor Island and participate in one of the many activities the resort has to offer - from those who like a bit of adventure and fun to otherd who want a more relaxing day out. We can also arrange for group acticities. A sheltered bay at most times of the year provides a safe place to conduct many water sport activities.
Pulau Tiga is 6 miles (10km) offshore on the west coast of Sabah, to the northeast of the country of Brunei. The of Sabah, to the northeast of the country of Brunei. The island is about 2.8 miles (4.5km) long and 1 mile (1.5km) wide, for a total of eight square miles (20.7 km2). Pulau Tiga's highest peak is approximately 330 feet (100 meters) tall.
Pulau TIga Resort is situated about 35 nautical miles, on the South West of Kota Kinabalu. To get here, you can either take a two-hour journey from Kota Kinabalu to Kuala Penyu by car, followed by a picturesque 20 miutes boat cruise to the island or take the easy way out and charter a boat from Kota Kinabalu to the island itself.
