I just wanna share this with all everybody who got plan to go Cameron. Please highly avoid this hotel. I had a very bad experience staying here.
I check in on 2/5 with my female friend. and check check out on 3/5. On 2/5, we came back to hotel quite late around 1.30am. First worst thing is...all the corridor light has been switch off and its quite dangerous to walk on the dark towards our room. We go back to the reception area but nobody there. so we choose to just entered the room.
I & my friend just finish watching a DVD movie at our laptop around 4.00am and we just about to sleep when we heard a sound at our window. It was heavy rain and suddenly the sound become loud like someone trying to open the window. I thought its coming from the roof. Suddenly the windows is open and i can see the curtain is moving. i quickly jump up from the bed and ask my friend to call reception but..............NOBODY pick up the phone. I become panic already and suddenly someone keep knocking the door. I had no choice but to wake up our neighbour in the next room. Luckily they heard us and quickly come for rescue.
It was 5.30 and we decide to to continue sleep. We found so many evidence to say it was a human and not ghost like our 'security' said:
1- why they switch off the corridor light when the room was occupied?
2- where is the reception cum security at that time? There is only 1 person that night name zurin (guy)
3- I call reception like a hell but nobody answer but so curious when suddenly he appears from nowhere and come to our room together with our neighbour (its quite far and takes time to come to our room)
4- We found the next room on the left is empty. (under renovation) and was NOT LOCK. So anybody can access to that room and very easily go out through the window and go to the next room. and can faster jump back into the same room and knocking our door in a short time. I guess after they realise we still wake, they change to plan b...try to scared us and turn it to GHOST Story!
5- After checking, the door viewer was purposely been screwed and u cannot see outside clearly.
All this evidence is to show clearly it was done by a human and not GHOST!
After check out on 3/5 at 2.00pm, i wanted to see the upper management to report about this. Her name is Puan Liza. Unfortunately, she acting so sarcastic with us and trying to say that we are making funny story. "FUNNY"? we gone through a very hard time the whole night and sitting here waiting for her and spoilt our holiday and she said we are making FUNNY story. She said...she only believe if we going to tell about GHOST STORY that she claims always happened there. Gosh! I cant the manager will act like that....so embarassed! she not even say sorry to us or trying to see the room after we told her all the damaged. instead she said that that room is a new 1...cannot be broken. So are we the 1 who make all the damages? I felt being insulted when she said that...if anybody want to enter that room also for what? to rape us? WTF! how come she said that kind of things?
So we dont want to argue with people with low knowledge....and we went out and straight away drove to the Police Station and make a report. Served them right!!
P/S - The blanket also got Urine Stain and still wet and smelly...........................

First of all, we were not informed that it's a malay hotel until we bypassed a signboard stating so. Room without carpet not as shown in picture. Curtains are dirty, pillows are stained, comforter got blood stained, furnitures are dusty. Staff are friendly enough. Breakfast very simple with 5 dishes only and 2 types of drinks only. You get what u pay for. Overall so so...

I reserved a family room with 4 adults. Only 2 towels were provided, there seemed to be towel shortage. My 5-year old kid is required to pay for buffett breakfast, which usually is FOC for 10 years or below in Singapore. The people there are friendly. I felt safer in Cameron than in Johor. However, sometimes I met service staff who doesn\'t speak English. I like the views and nature that Cameron has. The passion fruit, cameron apples, raw sweet corn (tastes crispy and sweet) are good ! In Cameron, it\'s difficult to go on feet as the distance between places is far. I have taken a day tour for 88RM for adults and 50RM for child with entrance fees excluded, I find it more fruitful to go by day tour than to explore the place by myself. My overall stay in Cameron was good.

The tv reception is so poor and the water heater is leaking. The breakfast is simple. This budgeted hotel is just comesurate with the rate charges.

the wardrobe condition is very poor, tv reception poor (we bought our own antenna), hot water not fully functioning, hot water tank rusty and leaking.

Stayed here with my family and were given a big room with clogged toilet bowl and non-carpetted flooring. The reception people were friendly, helpful and fast even the cleaner were friendly. The set-back was the breakfast which were only fried rice or fried noodles with fried eggs, perhaps this is due to cheap room rates. Since there were 4 of us in the room we have asked for an extra 2 towels but were informed that each room will only be provided with 2 towels. Parking lot was not enough if all of the guest drives there. The best part the hotel is, it is near to restaurants, bank, etc. Am sure if the management is willing to spend more for refurbishment, the hotel would look great.

Fast check in but the room toilet and condition is very poor. Ceiling torn up really scared my baby . I think cool point management should look into this. Breakfast also very poor better to take outside the hotel because price is not so expensive.
The only convenient thing is the bank and Atm machine location nearer compare fromBrinchang.
