Tangerine Restaurant brings forth varieties of palatable ala carte and set menu where flavours of Hong Kong Canton cooking and Western styled food are blended with a touch of localized cooking.

The Restaurant with an open kitchen concept is spacious which provides a casual setting and a choice for terrace dining overlooking the swimming pool while you enjoy the tropical atmosphere amidst lush forested scenery.

The open kitchen is extended to the pastry corner where a selection of cakes and pasty delicacies are available to compliment your meals.

Facilities

Fitness Centre
The Palace Hotel Fitness Centre is located at the pool level, spaciously designed for the use of in house guests, with an approximate floor space of 197sq/m.

It offers the latest Life Fitness exercise equipments ranging from dumb bells, treadmills, leg press and multi extension among others, while one may also opt to use our steam bath facility. Attending to your exercise requirements and assistance, our Gym Instructor is ever present upon request.

Swimming Pool
Our arched shape swimming pool with a length of 40 feet (12 meters) sits by the lush forested foothill of the Bukit Nenas bringing a sense of tropical serenity while swimming or sunbathing.

The pool is provided with sundeck chairs with the fitness centre and steam bath room just close by with a pool bar to complement the settings.

Meetings & Conferences

The PALACE Hotel offers modern conference facilities in the city’s best technical conference venue as well as being in the Kota Kinabalu’s most beautiful and convenient location for meeting.

The Palace Hotel offers an extensive package of conference facilities and services, which also extend to the great food provided by the Tangerine restaurant. Food can be either served in Tangerine or in the function rooms. Our meeting and conference facilities include wireless and high speed internet capability, high definition LCD flat screen, LCD projector for MS power point presentation white board with printer, surround sound as well as maintaining the modern feel breathed through the entire hotel.

Our new Board Room Suite will entice you to a private and exclusive setting. The 272 sq. ft is equipped with wireless and high speed internet capability and a whiteboard with printer. High definition LCD flat screen, TV and DVD player are upon request.

Hotel palace kk also a nice hotel during i visit to kota kinabalu sabah. The hotel is big, comfort, silent and clean. We visited to a massage shop nearby the hotel in The place Bandaran Berjaya name Bandaran Reflexology also good in professional massage by their expert massager and value for price.

3N4D stay with wife and 5 year old son. The hotel is not suitable for holiday, more to people attending meeting, conference,seminars etc . Not freindly staff, they will try at their level best not to have eye contact with you. No greetings ( but that did not stopped us from greeting "good morning"/"hi"/"hello"/"selamat pagi" to them), particularly, those at the coffee house. But whenever a "mat salleh" appears at the coffee hose, the staff never miss the oppurtunity to greet them, wonder when malaysian is going to respect their own people. Have to constantly remind the house keeping to clean up the room. On our 2nd day (30.10.08), we left to Kinabalu Park tour at 7.30 am and upon our return to the room at 5.30PM, we were shocked to see that our room not been cleaned up!!!! Upon checking with the housekeeping, we were informed that their records shows that we have checked out ( our check out date is 1.11.08). The front office then confirmed their system shows that our check out date is on 1.11.08 and not on 30.10.08 as alleged by the housekeeping and they do not understand why the housekeeping records shows otherwise. The best part is, no one apologised (either the front office nor the housekeeping) for the mistake. Very basic room amneties. Some renovation work is going on, very noisy. Overall a bad stay.

This is my first trip to KK and we stayed at Berjaya Palace for 4D3N during our honeymoon. Its located at hill facing compleks karumbunai and walking distance to town and food stall. I can say this is a very strategic place and a great place to stay at KK compare at other overated hotel near by. The buffet breakfast also great. I highly recommend this hotel.
