stayed there on 20th June 2009 for one nite...I got the deluxe room with 1 queen size bed...paid RM198 for it... the room was only ok.. got everything u need in it...mini fridge, tv, toiletries, nice view also from the huge window in the room...
check-in was slow due to 1 bus of tourists checking in...check out was also slow...dunno y..
my only prob with the room was the tub. the water didn't flow out...we discovered it quiet late at nite and we tot that it will flow out slowly...but it didnt...i did sent the maintenance check list informing the hotel about the tub when i check out
apart from the tub, i think the wall was too thin...i can hear the hotel staff talking outside and ppl upstairs using their taps... anyhow, due to exhaustion, we manage to sleep well...
will i stay in this hotel again...well, maybe..

Stayed early November '08. Using the corporate rate but i'm suprised when check-out & saw a banner outside hotel displayed the room rate cheaper than the corporate rate!!!!!! Why the hotel didn't charge me the promotion rate? Felt been cheated.

Just staying here one night. This is not my favourite hotel in Ipoh (my favourite is Casuarina & Syuen), but due to business purpose, ok lah...For me this hotel is ok. Everything is good. The food...normal for any hotel with similar rating...location bit far from shop. But not a problem since Ipoh is like my hometown, so I can drive anywhere.

stayed for a couple of nites in april, a little far off from city centre, where EVERYthing seems to happen. not a recommended spot for those without wheels. rooms were only OK, although booking were confirmed a month before hand & arrival time promtply advised, when we got there we couldn't check in early (yes, we understand this is based on availibility, isn't service level important?) and had some trouble at the registration counter. the breakfast sucked MAJOR -same spread everyday! Come one?! The spa is kind of suspicious looking place. I doubt i'll ever go back.

Stayed here from 12th-15th July- paid RM168 for a deluxe with king sized bed. rate comes with buffet breakfast for one person. It's RM18 per person if you're paying.
Room - comfortable and spacious, can easily fit 4 adults. Bed is comfy with only 2 pillows (no extra supplied, maybe on request, not sure). Mini fridge is empty. Toiletries are basic. Shower is located in bath tub.
My one gripe is that there is no hose next to the toilet bowl.
Breakfast buffet - hmm, nasi lemak every day for the three days we were there. with either mee goreng or kuey tiaw. there's also porridge, bread, fruits and an egg station. I loved the potato wedges!
Would I stay there again?
Hmm, perhaps, if they installed water hoses next to the toilets...:) :)

Good living environment. Room is clean and spacious bathroom. Basic facilities. No swimming pool. Not really try the foods since the day we arrived, there was a wedding dinner held at Tai Thong restaurant. Unsecure staircase connected from carpark to lobby. Don't even think to stay for relax. Just treat it a place to refresh yourself. Perhaps, a good hotel for punters who like horse-racing.

Ok. Quite far from hot spot centres, need to drive out or take a taxi. Not a hotel for my next visit unless if I have no choice.

Last year November 2004 was my first time steps into Heritage Hotel Ipoh. The room/bathroom is clean and in good condition. There is a problem on the mini-fridge during our stay but was rectified immediately by the hotel maintenance staff. The room is lack of hanging picture and don't have good views as the room is facing the back of race course. Looking forward to visit again on this coming November 2005.

I stayed here few years back and it was an excellent place to stay..but last week I stayed here again was shocked to see that the room was dirty and not properly maintained. When I checked in, I saw the toilet was not properly clean, carpet, beedsheet and blanket were dirty. And the pillows were very dirty and smelly. And there were pieces of food on the bed. But the sad part is...when I reached the hotel lobby, nobody from concierge came to help me with my luggage because he was too busy chatting with the receptionist...some of the staff also were not so friendly.
I hope the management will do something to improve the place and the staff attitude.

Actually, this is the only place I stayed in Ipoh. I have stayed here for few times, as recommended by my friend. I was told this is the newest hotel in Ipoh. Not very impressed. I had a nightmere when I used the iron recently, the iron was not proper maintained and there is stain on iron plate.

My brother had a wedding there and it was fantastic. The rooms were of quality and they were clean, maybe it was new. If Chow Yuen Fatt and Jodie Foster stayed there when they were shooting Anna and the King, it speaks for itself about quality.
